All payments are made through Square via our online ordering portal. Square allows for Visa, MC, Amex, and many other companies.

Beloved Bake Shop provide orders for pick up only. One of the conditions of the City of Calgary development approval is that Beloved Bake Shop will not have dine-in services or walk-up orders.

Beloved Bake Shop is a "solo-preneur" meaning I am the owner and operator. To ensure I provide you with the highest quality product for your celebration or event, I am limited to the number of orders I can take each week. You can see available order dates upon checkout. The sooner you place your order, the better to secure your order.

It may be possible that I could fit in a last minute order. Please contact me via the chat, contact form, or via email (belovedbakeshopyyc@gmail.com) to find out if I can accommodate your request. Beloved Bake Shop reserves the right to charge a $25 fee on rush/late/exception/accommodation orders (ex. request for order pick up on a non-pick up day or an order Beloved Bake Shop accommodates when already booked).

Beloved Bake Shop endeavours to provide cupcakes to as many customers as possible during these special calendar occasions. A set design selection will be offered that will be available for the week leading up to the occasion. No custom orders are available during this period. Our schedule for the period will open up once designs are added to our shop for purchase (please watch social media for notices about special occasions as these dates are likely to book up well in advance.)

Treats made at Beloved Bake Shop are made in a home kitchen and are therefore made with low risk food ingredients (not requiring refrigeration). It is best to keep cupcakes in a cool place (not the fridge) and protected from pets, dust, small children, etc. All treats are best consumed up to three days after pick up (if they last that long!). Should you have leftover cupcakes or need to pick them up in advance of your event, they can certainly be frozen and will keep moist if stored in a sealed container in the freezer. Ensure frozen cupcakes are placed on the counter to come to room temperature 1-2 hours prior to consumption. We do not recommend freezing or refrigerating any treats that are dipped in gourmet chocolate. Chocolate will take on flavours from other foods in the fridge or freezer and will also have "sugar bloom" - the sugar rises to the surface and discolours the chocolate (does not affect the flavour, but does not look appealing). Do not place cupcakes or treats in direct sunlight as the real butter used in the recipes and buttercream is likely to melt.

Beloved Bake Shop would love to provide cupcakes or sweet treats for your upcoming wedding. Perhaps you would like a bouquet that is a recreation of your bridal bouquet . Instead of buying and creating table centre pieces for your reception, you could order our floral bouquets that service as a centrepiece and a dessert! You could also have cupcake bouquets for bridal showers, bachelorettes, gift openings, or rehearsal dinners. Beloved Bake Shop is a small home-baking business that dedicates substantial time and effort into each and every order. The bespoke nature of my floral cupcakes and sweet treats require high quality ingredients and significant attention to detail not typically given at large scale operations and grocery stores. My cupcakes are "jumbo" size, rather than standard, which creates the delicious balance of cake to buttercream. I strive to use sustainable packaging and supplies to reduce my impact on the environment (ex. windowless bakery boxes, re-usable piping bags, raffia ribbon, kraft paper, etc). These prices allow me to provide this high quality product and experience for my customers.

Beloved Bake Shop provide orders for pick up only. The detailed decorations of our treats, particularly the floral cupcakes, are somewhat delicate and would be damaged during shipping.

We partner with a local delivery company called Deeleo that delivers our products Tuesdays through Fridays. Delivery is available within Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere, and Cochrane. Orders scheduled in the morning would be delivered no later than 4 pm and orders scheduled for the afternoon would be delivered no later than 8 pm. The cost for delivery is: Calgary - $12 Airdrie/Chestermere - $26 Cochrane/Okotoks - $40 This service includes a box for transport and pick up and delivery by a Deeleo agent during the delivery windows mentioned above. No refunds will be provided if there are any address errors, missing address information, no one is available to receive the package, or the delivery agent can not gain access to the address. All orders can be scheduled for pick up at Beloved Bake Shop's home bakery. When you submit your order there is an option to select a collection time slot. Once your order is placed and paid for, the pick up address in the community of Varsity in NW Calgary will be sent to you. This email should come immediately after you receive your order confirmation and payment email. If you have not received it, please check your spam or junk mail folder. The email should be from belovedbakeshopyyc@gmail.com - make sure to add us to your safe senders list!

All orders are for pick up at Beloved Bake Shop's home bakery. One of the conditions of the City of Calgary development approval is that Beloved Bake Shop will not publicly advertise the home bakery address, which is in a residentially zoned area.

Although orders are baked from my home kitchen, I do have other obligations that require me to leave – reserving your time means that you are able to collect your bouquet or sweet treats at a time that best suits both of our schedules *please respect your pickup time and treat it as any reserved appointment in your schedule – if you do not collect at your reserved time, pickup may need to be rescheduled at the availability of Beloved Bake Shop.

Beloved Bake Shop uses American Buttercream with real butter, pure vanilla, and powdered sugar. This buttercream is delicious, can be kept at room temperature, and holds its decorated shape well.

We provide standard size gluten free cupcakes by the dozen. We do not provide any products that are vegan or dairy-free at this time. If you have a large order (wedding, corporate, or more than one dozen cupcakes) please contact us to discuss a potential special custom order. We may look into providing some of these products in future if there is an increasing demand.

We do not intentionally make any of our cupcakes, buttercream, or treats with nuts or nut ingredients. While we are careful in our processes to keep things separate, our home-kitchen is not a nut-free facility. We are unable to guarantee any potential cross contamination so if you have a severe nut allergy, please carefully consider if Beloved Bake Shop products are right for you.
